A Cafe That Changes Lives
Since the Friendship Café opened its doors in 2010, it has evolved from a neighborhood eatery into a full-time classroom for the Amos House Culinary Education Program. After working hard all week, our students show off what they’ve learned every Friday with a special 3-course lunch that keeps our community members coming back for more! The menu varies each week based on current class teachings, and all proceeds support the Amos House Culinary Education Program.
The Friendship Café serves as a classroom for our culinary students, but also for our community! Our instructors host fun and educational cooking classes and demonstrations throughout the year. Our customers also have the option of renting the Café for private events—our unique space and customizable menus are perfect for any occasion.
Whether you come by the Café for a delicious Friday lunch, take one of our cooking classes, or rent our space, your support makes it possible for our students to develop the skills they need today to be the success stories of tomorrow.
