The ACE Extra Special

Free range seared duck with quinoa? At Friendship Café? As part of their hands-on curriculum, Amos Culinary Education students plan and prepare daily “extra” specials at Friendship Café. Since the students are stretching their culinary chops, the ACE Extra Special tends to be a little more gourmet than the Café’s usual American comfort fare. Students prepare a daily housemade soup, salad and an entrée or gourmet sandwich.
